A transit visa in UAE is usually issued to passengers holding a valid ticket for an onward flight, under the sponsorship of an Emirati Airline operating in the United Arab Emirates. There is no cost to obtain a transit visa. It is good for single entry only. Transit visa is usually issued within 3 working days. On departure the transit visa is cancelled automatically. Maximum stay is for 14 days with strictly no extension to the stay period. All Asian, Middle East and African nations are eligible for transit visa.
